Rooted in Community. Built Over Time.
Transformative Changes is a Black woman-founded, community-rooted, peer-led healing justice non-profit organization and social enterprise founded in 2022.
Born From Necessity.
We exist because systems that impact Black and Brown communities often reproduce cycles of exclusion, trauma, disposability, violence, cultural erasure, and disempowerment.
We recognize that many institutions — including social movements themselves — can replicate patterns of urgency, extraction, burnout, punishment, and disconnection.
Our work seeks to interrupt these cycles by cultivating healing, belonging, collective care, leadership, accountability, and community power rooted in the wisdom and lived experiences of those most impacted by systemic barriers.
