Safe & Restorative Schools Learning Tour
The Learning Tour brings together students, community leaders, and lawmakers to talk honestly about what safety and belonging really mean. Instead of lectures or panels, we sit in Restorative Healing Circles—open spaces for listening, sharing stories, and building understanding.

Crisis to Care BIPOC Leadership Cohort
We’re inviting 15 Black and Brown leaders to join a six-month healing justice leadership cohort (Nov 2025 – Mar 2026) across Virginia’s five regions. You’ll be part of a movement to create community-based alternatives to punitive crisis systems or saviorship.

Planted in Richmond, Virginia with coverage across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV), Transformative Changes mission is to defy the status quo in pursuit of justice and human liberation using healing-centered engagement, culturally-grounded creativity, and justice to center historically disenfranchised people as agents in the creation of their own well-being in the social justice movement space.

We’re especially seeking board members with experience in:
- Law or legal strategy
- Fundraising and donor development
- Strategic leadership and governance
- Program design and evaluation
- Nonprofit finance and accounting
